Najib A. Waziri is a Youth Development Expert, Security Consultant, and Lawyer; holds an LL.B from the University of Buckingham, an M.A in International Security Studies from the University of Reading, a Mini MBA from the International Business Management Institute, Berlin and an MPhil in Defence and Security Studies from African’s most prestigious military school, Nigerian Defence Academy.

In July 2020, Najib became an Oxford Executive Education Alumni, when he obtained his professional certificate in Executive Leadership from Said Business School, University of Oxford. 

Najib is a Certified Management Consultant and a Fellow of Institute of Management Consultants with proven competency in implementing policies and spearheading teams to achieve goals across a range of issues and sectors. Najib has a track record of using rigorous logic and methods to come up with effective solutions to challenging problems. 

Najib is a global citizen and a young thought leader who is not only highly passionate about youth development, nation-building, and grassroots inclusion but most importantly devoted to strengthening the capacity of the Nigerian youth. He has contributed his fair quota to youth development and empowerment by providing multiple participatory opportunities for youth engagements and proactiveness which in tandem builds a transformed community.

Najib has received numerous recognitions and appointments for his work. To state a few, In 2017, Najib was part of the Envoy that Represented Nigeria at the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, where he was honored by the Queen and the Royal Family alongside other Commonwealth Head of States. Najib is a recipient of numerous awards from different bodies. To mention a few, Najib is a receipt of a Meritorious Award by the Royal African Leadership Forum which is under the leadership of the Ooni of Ife for his notable and outstanding achievement in Governance and leadership. Najib was recognised as one of Nigerians most outstanding Under 30 CEOs in 2021 by CEO Network Africa for his immense contribution through his NW Group of Companies.

Najib is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, African Bar Association, International Bar Association, Institute of Security and Strategic Studies, and the Security Institute (UK). He is an associate at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), a fellow at the World Youth Alliance and serves on the board of the Nigerian Young Professionals Forum (NYPF). Najib is part of several Development Organisations where he seeks to add substantial value through driven impacts

Najib is currenly the Group Managing Director of NW Group. A group of companies involved in Agriculture, Waste to Wealth Management, Investment advisory, Management consulting, Defence contracting and Security consulting.
